4.14.10 – They Let Me Submit My Visa Info!

Even though I had to get up early this morning for yet another visa appointment, it was at least worth it this time. I got through the multiple layers of security once more, and presented all of my documents to the embassy. I mentioned to the woman behind the desk that I had been there the day before, but I was positive that I had the correct application. At least I got one step further today and at least got them to take my application for processing. Now I just hope that the processing of everything goes well. I should find out in about a week. Everyone was still very kind about everything, and it was really nice because the security guard out front actually apologized that I was unable to receive proper service the day before (sort of funny but still very thoughtful).

After my appointment, I turned around and headed back home to Hillerod. I had some homework that I was hoping to get completed, however I was as successful as completing it as I wanted to be. This was due to two reasons, one because I had done a good deal of homework the night before and the other being that I felt a relief having turned in my visa and simply wanted to relax. Instead, I did some research on JP Morgan Chase (I had a phone interview, which I’ll get back to in a moment), watched a few Glee episodes (a new show I have taken to watching), and then I managed to go for a run since the weather is gorgeous outside.

At about 5:00 my phone rang for my phone interview with JP Morgan Chase. I had applied for an internship through them all the way back in December. Phone interviews can always be sort of weird, however I still think that it went well and I should hear back from them also in about a weeks time or so. It is sort of odd continuing with this process since I have been pursuing the London program, however I think it is simply a good learning experience to be corresponding and simply seeing how far I go in the process.

After my interview, I simply relaxed for the evening. I intend to get some of the work that I failed to do today completed during my 5 hours break tomorrow.
